Bakuchiol Skin Renewing Facial Oil (Retinol Alternative)

I’ve been using this every day for a few months and my dark spots and hyperpigmentation is so much better than I expected. I was not prepared for how noticeable the difference would be. My skin looks more even and just way more radiant overall.The thing that sold me though is waking up with actually hydrated, bouncy skin. I used to wake up dry and kind of depleted feeling, and that’s not the case anymore. This face oil definitely works overnight and you can really feel it in the morning. I also love using it to dermaplane safely or create a slip for my gua sha for lymphatic drainage.It has such a luxurious feel to it and it doesn’t sit heavy on your skin. As someone with sensitive skin, I was worried this would break me out and I’ve had no issues at all. I love that it’s so natural and that the bakuchiol is a derm recommended alternative to retinol. This is a permanent addition to my nighttime routine.

This is a nice, oil-based serum. It is made with pretty clean ingredients, though I'd appreciate less tocopherols, which can be irritating or allergenic.I am allergic to fragrance and, though this is not irritating to me, the scent of jasmine is pretty overwhelming. There's no artificial fragrance but the essential oil is too much and stays on my face for hours. They would do well to lessen the amount of jasmine essential oils in here.

This is a good quality facial serum. The oil helps keep my skin moisturized and smooth. Just apply at night during your regular skincare routine. It's very easy and pleasant to use. Great product!

I have used it a few times but honestly, I don't like the smell. It's not a terrible smell, but it's unappealing to me and it doesn't fade away so I am stuck smelling it for hours. It also makes my skin very oily looking, not a glowing oily but more of a greasy oily. It doesn't really absorb, but rather sits on top of your skin. It does do a great job of keeping my skin moist and soft though, but definitely can't be worn under makeup. I will continue to use it after I shower as an "oil mask," but not every day since I don't like the scent.

I use this oil on top of my hands for moisture over the colder months. It has a super strong floral scent (think old school Granma smell) but it doesn’t bother me enough to not use it. I definitely don’t plan to use it on my face for this reason. It does well moisturizing my hands.

I have a little dry skin on my neck and a few turkey neck wrinkles started. Mudita Earth really takes care of the dry skin there. It is very soothing to my skin.

I am reviewing this Mudita Earth 1% Bakuchiol Face Serum. The oil is very nice and absorbs well into my skin and feels hydrating. But unfortunately I do not care for the scent and cannot wear it on my face. It does wash off well which I found out once I had it on and realized the scent was giving me a headache. Scent is such a personal thing and I am sensitive to smells so this might work well for others, and the oil is really nice and hydrating. I really wish I could tolerate the scent as I really like the way the oil feels on my skin. Update, I started using this on a scar on my foot and it is healing it better than anything I have tried over the years. I am super happy with this as a scar gel and the scent is far enough away from my nose that it does not give me a headache

I have a buckseed oil that does the same thing, so no big deal. I haven't been using it long enough to know if it's doing anything, but I'm a big believer in facial oils as an anti-aging product.
